**BRING YOUR OWN PLATE to DINNER**
We think it's fun to be creative, and we like the idea of people bringing their own plate to our Love and Tomatoes dinner to showcase their own unique personality (and it doesn't to hurt to have one less plate to transport and clean). Show your true colors through your flatware!

Love and Vegetables is teaming up with Teena’s Pride to co-create an event to raise money for Love and Vegetables non-profit community cafe and ”Save American Family Farms from Extinction” (SAFFFE). SAFFFE is a grassroots initiative for people who are passionate about the future of local family farms. SAFFFE is a pledge of your time to raise the consciousnesses of those around to buy locally-grown produce. 

Love and Vegetables will be popping-up at Michael Borek Farms in Homestead Florida, where our menu will showcase Teena’s Pride Heirloom Tomatoes. Teena grows a large variety of heirloom tomatoes grown from seeds which have been saved through generations. These tomatoes have that “old-fashioned” flavor which is sometimes lost in supermarket varieties. 

Teena’s Pride Heirloom Tomatoes are full of delicious flavor, and will be at the peak of their season in late January. We are sourcing 100% of this meal from Borek Farms. You’ll get a chance to taste food that is prepared with fruits, vegetables, and herbs picked that day – minutes before for some recipes, while at their peak! All food will be prepared with love by Chef Keith Kalmanowicz and his culinary team in typical love and veggies style of fresh, yummy, and spontaneous.
